RealDudes Review: Dark Side of the Moon
Starting off I'd like to say I tried to check all bias at the door on this one. The sun shines out of optimus primes ass in my opinion and I knew going into this movie, Bay could do no wrong.
With that said, Dark Side of the Moon held it's own. Let's be clear, it's more of the same for the Transformer series (autobots chilling, deceptions plotting, love story, no story, heavy dose of one liners that, oh yea and robot blood baths) but let's be honest if you're seeing it, what more are you expecting? The action takes it to a new level in this one. I was skeptical of the 3d after all of the criticism that was dished out on number 2 for the fact the action scenes were too fast and not clear as to what was happening. Bay def heard and listened because the transformation (zing) to 3d was actually an improvement. Bay took the time to slow down the action, even extra slow at times, in order to let you take in the visuals.
Sam Witwichy (Shia Lebouf) is now feeling useless because the decepticons havent got it popping in a while so he's been iced out of all autobots activity and is having to find a real job. I thought losing Megan Fox's character was going to truly hurt this series, I was wrong as hell. Sam's new girlfriend Carly (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley) is sexy as hell. Whiteley, former Vikki secrets supermodel whom beat out other models for the role such as Bar and Brooklyn steals the show for most of the movie jus by being so damn hott. Her accent sets it over top, but I digress. You should keep a realistic view of this movie is exactly and don't go into it excepting Inception, it's not and that's not the appeal of transformers, it's meant to Holla at your inner child while appealing to you adult eyes, which it does perfectly.
I'd give it a 6 out of 10 but my heart gives it a 10 out of 10.
Pros: -Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
- action scenes kill it
- bad ass bad ass bad ass cars
(decepti) Cons: -the movies long man, run time 2hrs 37mins.....it was physically painful to sit there that long.
- story is pretty flat, they tie in actual events like the moon landing and Chernobyl, but it doesn't help do much to push the story.

awesome honest review sir, thank you. I'll be checking it out soon. People try to analyze it for more than what it is-it's THE summer blockbuster action film every summer, be happy with that.
