Happy 25 Years, Zelda.

"On February 21, 1986 -- exactly 25 years ago today -- the very first copy of the game we know as The Legend of Zelda was sold in Japan, jump-starting an iconic franchise that has spawned various sequels, books, television shows, and a fan community larger than perhaps any other videogame series."

The defining RPG of our childhoods. It's amazing that they literally repeat the same story every time and each time the game gets that much better and is the standard for what "fun" is in an RPG.

Here's to another 25 years, Zelda.

  3. hahahaha appreciate the enthusiasm Laz...you need to tell them about how Zelda somehow just keeps getting more epic, and we are grown ass men sitting here vouching for a kid's game...but it is really a testament to great software development and on a broader scale nintendo's business philosophy.
