Christian Bale and Steve Buscemi both deserved awards.
ReplyDeleteChristian Bale did one of the best renditions of a loving brother addicted to crack that I have ever seen in "The Fighter". As soon as I saw the movie, I knew duke would win an award. Good cast all throughout the joint-the mom also did an exceptional job. I would give it a two thumbs up and highly recommend it to any real dude.
And Boardwalk Empire is a pretty good show, with the potential to be great. It was HBO's main even show for the last three months and I expect that will carry over this year.
ReplyDeleteBuscemi by far is the best actor on there. His character has many different layers and a range of emotions, and both are executed greatly by him.
Yes, ladies and gents, he is the crazy hobo from circa 2000 Adam Sandler movies.
man, i loved the fighter, bale did his thing on that. i agree with natalie portman and the swan, didnt love the movie as much as her playing that role..have to see that boardwalk empire, i love buscemi.
